As training camp kicks off, Atlanta Dream center Imani McGee-Stafford talks to Huw Hopkins about her excitement of getting back on a WNBA court after a disappointing experience playing in China. The pair assess the Dream’s chances as the team awaits Angel McCoughtry’s return from injury, as well as Tiffany Hayes’ MVP chances and the high hopes that Head Coach Nikki Collen has for the team. Imani also discusses being part of the first generation of WNBA athletes that had mothers play in the league before her, and using her brother (Javale McGee) as an inspiration to continue to be professional through varying minutes and up and down performances.
