The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the great NBA dynasties and a worldwide sports brand. They were founded in 1947 as the Minneapolis
Lakers, where they captured 5 championships before moving to
Hollywood in 1960.

Since then, the Lakers have gone on to become the second
most successful franchise in the NBA, sitting behind their arch
rivals, Boston.

The Lakers last championship came in 2010, beating Boston in an all-time classic Game 7.
